DAVID HOCKNEY - LOUIS VUITTON FOUNDATION BOOK

This landscape-format book accompanies David Hockney's major exhibition at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in 2025. It covers his artistic career through images and texts that span from his early years in Bradford and London, through his time in California, to his most recent works in Bridlington (Yorkshire) and Normandy (France).

Organized into thematic chapters, the book includes key works in genres such as portrait, nature, landscape, and scenic design. It also dedicates a section to his digital production, especially that created with an iPad.

It includes archival photographs and a selection of works accompanied by texts by renowned curators and critics such as Sir Norman Rosenthal and Sir Simon Schama. The book was produced in close collaboration with Hockney and his studio and includes foldouts to detail some of his most important pieces.
