PAOLO ROVERSI BOOK (ENGLISH)

Published to coincide with the exhibition held at the Palais Galliera (March 16 – July 14, 2024), this book offers an in-depth look at the work of Italian photographer Paolo Roversi, a key figure in fashion photography in France over the past four decades.

Arriving in Paris in 1973, Roversi has distinguished himself with his unique style, defined by the use of the studio, large-format camera, and Polaroid, creating images full of mystery and timeless beauty. His work, stemming from collaborations with designers such as Yohji Yamamoto, Rei Kawakubo, Romeo Gigli, and Dior, combines artistic honesty with a constant challenge to innovate.

Conceived in close collaboration with the artist himself, this volume is an testimony to understanding the trajectory and legacy of one of the great contemporary masters of fashion photography.
