Steve Jobs was born in San Francisco, California, in 1955. At the age of twelve, during a summer camp, he first saw a computer that took up an entire room and was fascinated by its potential. He later forged a friendship with Steve Wozniak, with whom he shared the vision that every home should have its own personal computer. Together they founded a company and began building the Apple I in Jobs' garage. This was the first personal computer of its kind and marked the beginning of one of the world's most successful technology companies.
Under his leadership, Apple revolutionized the technology industry with iconic products such as iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. Steve Jobs was known not only for his innovative genius, but also for his ability to inspire and transform ideas into realities that changed the lives of millions of people.
Despite his battle with cancer, which led to his death at the age of 56, his bold vision and ability to “follow his intuition” continue to leave an indelible mark on the world of technology and beyond.
Little & Grande is a collection of illustrated biographies that invites us to learn about the lives of extraordinary people. From artists and designers to scientists and activists, each book in the series tells how they managed to turn a small dream into a great story.
