OUR USED CLOTHING DONATION PROGRAMME
We run a second-hand clothing collection scheme which enables our customers to hand in items they no longer use. The aim of the programme is to encourage the effective use of the collected clothing, prioritising its reuse and, where this is not possible, its recycling.
Clothing, footwear and accessories of any brand and in any condition may be donated. We send the products to local organisations, which sort them according to their condition and quality.
Organisations manage the garments collected by prioritising options that extend their useful life, whether by distributing them to people in vulnerable situations or by reselling them to fund social projects, for example. Where reuse is not possible, organisations shall channel them into other appropriate management channels.
How can you make your donation?
- Store delivery: we have clothes collection containers in our stores where you can deposit the package with the clothes you wish to donate. You can check the locations in our Store Finder. Remember that your donation must be placed inside a properly sealed package.
- Online delivery: in an effort to bring the used clothing donation programme closer to our online store customers, we currently have a clothing donation home collection service in Shanghai, Beijing and Jiangsu.
At the end of the purchase process, and whenever possible, you can request collection of a clothes donation, and the courier, taking advantage of their delivery routes, will collect the package with the clothes you wish to donate at the same delivery address as the order. Remember that the garments must be placed inside a properly sealed package.
Please note that the maximum measurements of the package must be 50 cm x 50 cm x 50 cm. It does not need to have any identifying labels.
