This book explores the complex and fascinating relationship between Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, two of the most iconic figures in modern art. Warhol, already an established legend, and Basquiat, a rising talent in New York’s urban art scene, forged a personal and professional partnership charged with energy, tension and creativity.

Produced in collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation and the Basquiat estate, this book brings together hundreds of previously unpublished photographs capturing the private and public moments of their friendship, alongside legendary figures such as Madonna, Grace Jones, Keith Haring and Fela Kuti. It also features excerpts from Warhol's Diaries, collaborative works by the two artists and memories that reveal the depth and complexity of their bond.
