COMPOSITION AND CARE
At Zara you can find a wide range of products in natural, artificial and synthetic materials. You will have detailed information about the composition of each item both on Zara.com and on the garment itself.
In addition, our Sustainability Policy requires that all our animal-derived products come from animals treated ethically and responsibly, and never from animals slaughtered solely for the commercial use of their skins, shells, feathers, down or other materials.
We work with monitoring programmes to ensure compliance with our social, environmental and health and safety standards for our garments.
We have a traceability system that tells us about the supply chain behind our products. We ask our suppliers to provide information on every facility involved in the production process, from the yarn or fibre through to the finished garment. This encompasses both our own and external factories, as well as any intermediaries involved in each process. To assess compliance, we have developed a programme of audits and continuous improvement plans.
